Vocational Training and Entreprenuership
Equipping Leaders to Serve Sustainably
EQUIPPING LEADERS TO SERVE SUSTAINABLY
At ACTIVE Ministry, we believe that ministry leaders—pastors, church planters, and others called to spread the gospel—succeed best when they have the means to support the family and the ministry work. Our Vocational Education program is built on this vision: to equip Christian leaders with practical skills and talents to generate income, nurture young churches, and serve local communities. This self-sustaining approach empowers leaders to serve without financial worry, dedicating themselves fully to God's calling.

Why Vocational Education?
The journey of a church planter or pastor often starts in underserved communities with limited resources. This can place financial pressure on leaders who desire to focus on ministry but must still provide for their families. Our vocational programs offer a bridge, teaching essential skills that leaders can use to earn a livelihood, creating a sustainable path for personal and ministry growth. With this approach, pastors and church planters can be self-supported financially while building, growing, and continuing congregations.
DEVELOPING PRACTICAL TALENTS FOR SELF-SUPPORTED MINISTRY
At ACTIVE Ministry, vocational training equips pastors and church planters with practical skills to build sustainable livelihoods. Instead of focusing solely on employment preparation, the program empowers leaders to cultivate hands-on talents, such as carpentry, welding, brick masonry, or computer support, and apply those abilities to generate income and serve their communities. This approach nurtures servant-leaders who impact lives spiritually and practically through faithful, skilful work.

These talents allow leaders to establish sustainable sources of income, so they can focus on their ministry without financial strain. For instance, as a carpenter, welder, mason, or computer specialist, each leader develops a skill they can rely on to support their families while nurturing their growing congregations. This path of self-reliance demonstrates how faith-driven leaders can be both spiritually and economically impactful in their communities.

ACTIVE Ministry’s vocational training equips leaders to support their ministries through the talents they develop. Our courses provide essential, hands-on skills across a range of practical areas, including:
Small Business and Entrepreneurship
1
We equip leaders with skills in business fundamentals, from financial management to customer service, enabling them to start or improve small businesses that can support their families and communities.
Sustainable Agriculture and Food Security
3
Our agriculture program emphasizes sustainable, efficient farming techniques that church leaders can use to supplement income and promote food security in their communities.
Technical Trades Training
2
For instance, skills like carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work, are in high demand and can serve as valuable income streams. Leaders trained in these areas can offer their services professionally, whether for local community members or larger projects.
Crafts and Creative Arts
4
For those with creative talents, we offer training in areas such as artisan crafts, tailoring, and more. These skills can become profitable ventures while bringing beauty and connection to communities.
A Path to Self-Supported Ministry
Our unique approach to vocational training doesn’t just meet financial needs; it aligns with our mission to develop whole, well-rounded leaders. Bi-vocational ministry equips leaders to be self-reliant, demonstrating how faith and responsibility intersect. It creates a sustainable model where church leaders are less dependent on external funding, promoting stronger, more enduring ministries.

Who Is This For?
The Vocational Education program is for anyone called to ministry and committed to developing a sustainable path forward. Whether you’re a new church planter, a pastor in a young ministry, or someone preparing for future service, ACTIVE Ministry provides a supportive, empowering environment to grow both spiritually and practically.
