Dear ACTIVE Ministry Family & Friends,
We hope that this letter finds you and your family enjoying the beauty of Thanks Giving and Christmas season! You have been an invaluable resource to ACTIVE ministry over this past year. Your support in both prayer and financial donations has helped ACTIVE to establish the International Institute of Bible & Vocational Training in Zimbabwe, which opened in 2009.
- We currently have an enrollment of 20 students who are completing courses to prepare to plant New Testament Christian churches throughout Zimbabwe and Africa!
- ACTIVE has also been able to deliver a clean water filtration system to the village of Mudzi, Zimbabwe. This community of approximately 35,000 will now have access to clean drinking water. We will install a second system again this summer.
- ACTIVE has been able to deliver over 100 pairs of shoes to orphans in Zimbabwe through our Children Helping Children program.
It has been through your generosity & God’s leading that ACTIVE has been able to minister to the needs of the people in Zimbabwe!
ACTIVE is gearing up for our 2011 Summer School session, which begins on June 20, 2011. We are anticipating double enrollment from 2010, and will be working with around 50 students this coming summer to help them prepare for a career in ministry. In order for this to happen, we need additional financial partners to support this ministry. We ask that you prayerfully consider how you can be a part of this ministry.
Your financial contributions will help to ease the cost of the school session for a student in Zimbabwe that desires to serve God through church-planting.
How YOU Can Help:
- Sponsor A Student Program - for $250 you can cover the cost of tuition, room & board, and school supplies for a student to attend the International Institute of Bible & Vocational Training this summer for six weeks and earn 12 credit hours.
- Donate - your gift of $50, $100, $200, $500 can make a huge impact in Zimbabwe this summer. You can choose to make a onetime contribution, or partner with us on a monthly basis, no gift is too small.
- PRAY - we need your prayers to meet our fund-raising goals. Pray for our students & teachers as they prepare to begin classes this June, that God will protect their hearts and keep their minds open
This has been a difficulty year of fundraising for ACTIVE Ministry, and we are currently running at a deficit. We still have a significant amount of funding to be raised before our June deadline. We ask that you prayerfully consider partnering with us to meet our funding needs. ACTIVE operates solely on donations from Churches and individuals. ACTIVE ministry donates 100% of its time & all donations are tax deductible. ACTIVE is a 501 (C) (3) non-profit organization.
